The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the denomination is now home to about 2.5 million members worshipping in more than 29,000 local congregations in 162 world areas.
Our church in Highland Springs, VA was completed and dedicated on April 5, 1964.
Meet our Pastor...
I have been a part of the Nazarene Church since 1993 when I joined the youth group at Richmond Southside Church of the Nazarene. It was there that I discovered my call to the ministry. I started my journey at Nazarene Bible College in 2005 on campus, but realized there were some things in my life that I needed to work on before I could continue my journey into full time ministry. With God’s help and the support of many of my friends at Southside Nazarene, I have been working toward God’s call on my life and I am so grateful that God never gives up on us. God has not given up on you either. I am currently enrolled at Nazarene Bible College and have been blessed to join the congregation at Highland Springs Church of the Nazarene as Local Supply Pastor.
My wife, Amy, and I have been married since 2001 and we have three boys, Ethan, Micah, and Joshua. When I am not busy with church or family you can find me reading, dreaming about exotic sports cars, hiking throughout Virginia, and enjoying time on the water: chlorinated, freshwater and saltwater.
